Sarah is an Orrick Racial Justice Fellow. She is a member of the Supreme Court and Appellate group at Orrick, where she has maintained an active pro bono practice focused on civil rights and criminal justice. Before joining Orrick, Sarah served as a law clerk to Justice Elena Kagan and Justice John Paul Stevens of the U.S. Supreme Court, to Judge Michelle Friedland of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and to Judge Alison Nathan, then of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York
