Wenei Philimon is the Digital Communications Specialist at the Policing Project. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Journalism with emphasis on news, audio, broadcasting and documentary-making. Prior to joining the Policing Project, she worked as a reporter for local newspapers, a multimedia content creator, and a radio host. She also worked as a freelance reporter for USA Today’s “Seven Days in 1961,” a multimedia project where activists shared their stories about challenging racism in 1961.
