Joshua Manson

Joshua Manson is the Director of Communications with the Policing Project. Previously he was the Communications Manager for the UCLA Law COVID Behind Bars Data Project, where he built out a communications apparatus utilizing data to call attention to the spread of COVID-19 in American jails and prisons. He has also worked at the American Civil Liberties Union, the Center for Constitutional Rights, and Brooklyn Defender Services, and his freelance writing has appeared in The Appeal, Jacobin, Teen Vogue, Them, and other publications.
